Beretta’s partners for the Cromozero project.

The company

Beretta Fabbrica d’armi

Beretta’s attention to the environment has distant roots. It is enough to remember when, in 1913, Pietro Beretta commissioned the two hydroelectric power stations which made the company energy independent, and that are still operative today.

Beretta is focused on sustainable and long-term development. The company is committed to contributing to the achievement of the targets published by the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which defines  the main priorities for a global development, while promoting human well-being and environmental protection.

From this perspective, the company has implemented structural and operational measures in order to reduce water and energy consumption, CO2 emissions and to eliminate hazardous substances used in production, such as solvents and hexavalent chromium. The Life20 Cromozero project was born from these objectives.
